Hey peeps…
TGIF.. yippee..
Last Weds, went to Hwa Chong Institution to watch this 3NGLES programme thing-an English speaking competition or something like that. Its like a collaboration with Hwa Chong (HCI), SCGS and Nanyang (NYG). Reached HCI at about 2pm. The skool is like super duper big…
When the competition started, we girls were all screaming like crazy.. very enthu.. our usual self.. cheering for SCGS. But we kinda irritated the HCI boys. They were closing their ears like gesturing us to keep quiet. We must be deafening them.. ha ha.. It was actually quite fun irritating the guys there.
u are right Aisyah…HCI guys really dun give a damn about gurls, like they are programmed not look at gurls… haha… Anyway, Aisyah spotted ‘HOTNESS’. I dunno but it could have been Sean’s fren or something. But, that ‘HOTNESS’ guy i thought looked kinda unsociable though.
But anyways, overall, it was pretty fun… especially irritating the guys at the back. That was real fun. Oopps… gotta go… Till next time!!! Will talk about my sucky NAFA.. :(
P/S: To all HCI guys, your skool is super duper nice and big… Really… Me n my frens got lost finding the toilet … Haha!!

Hey… I had such an awesome experience.…
Well, last Monday, choir went for SYF right… my first ever. When we arrived at Victoria concert hall, everyone was like totally freaked out… My heart was beating like super duper fast. It was pounding like a drum. Infact I felt like vomiting with butterflies in my stomach. But, the wonderful seniors told me to just breathe in and out… in and out… Haha!! Well, we did our usual warm-ups outside. It seemed like a minute and we were on. We did all our songs very sweetly just like how we are… sweet… Ego!!! Haha!!
Anyways, our emotions rock like crazy!!! Well, we made some mistakes but luckily were not so obvious though. After the whole performance, quite a number of us cried. It was sad. We wished we could do it all over again. We only managed to watch Crescent perform for the morning slot as we were one of the second last choirs in the morning. Then we stayed for a bit in the afternoon. Watched a few schools. I thought Temasek did well... it then gave me the shuddders when I thought about our performance.
We came back in the evening for the results. Everyone was super duper anxious waiting for the results. Everyone was all crossing their fingers. We all had to get a gold (we worked so hard)… We just had to or maybe a gold with honours... hmm that would be bonus. Anyways, one by one they called the skool. We were so nervous!!!
Then, the time came…
“Singapore Chinese Girls School…….. GOLD!!!!”
We were all so happy.. so elated. Many people cried... for happiness and some sadness coz we didnt get Gold with Honours. Well, I was just lost for words. I guess the judges were just pleased with our sweetness… Haha!!! Juz kidding… But anyways, our hard work paid off… Right?

A quick update...
Guess what??? I have choir SYF tomorrow and I am having a cold/flu… Sucks, right? I know. I bet tomorrow, Mrs Yogi will kill me for being sick... but NO way I am going to miss my big day tomorrow... my first SYF in SCGS. Early night today.. I am destroyed. Had photo shoot for my JazzKids Concert from 10am to 5pm. Will talk more about that another day... Got to be up at 5 tomorrow, all ready made up and be in school by 6.30 and unbelievably have to sit for my Science Test at 7 before leaving for Victoria Concert Hall. Bet you... Will be doing the test with my eyes closed... *yawn* *yawn*
