today, I went for CIP at Toa Payoh Community Library with Yasmeen and Lecind. I was suppose to shelve the books. I didnt know it would be so tiring that my hands would hurt and become numb after a while. It was then when I realised how much work librarians have to go through when a patron just mess up the books. we had to arrange them in alphabetical order. I even got papercuts!! ouch!!

while I was pushing the trolley filled with books, patrons would just throw the books into the trolley as if it were some piece of junk or as if the trolley was a trashcan. I felt extremely mad at that point of time! I wanted to scream at them as I had already arranged them alphabetically! >.<

Then, i was organising the books at the kids area when this girl went to the trolley with a book in her hand and shockingly, she opened her book and worse still, she sat on the trolley. But that was not the end. The other books from the trolley dropped on the floor. I was going to burst man! My whole face was like red. You should have seen it. Just imagine. You arranged the books for more than half an hour, put them on the trolley and then, everything dropped because of a girl who did not even know the word 'sorry'(i suppose)... i was very frustrated.

Oh i forgot to mention, we didnt have a good start... the librarian who was supposed to manage us asked us if we have ever experienced shelving books. And we said no. Guess wat she said? she said DIE lah you all... DIE... CONFIRM DIE... Like seriously man, i mean, we can learn right? That's why we have a common language, ENGLISH that she can talk to us to and teach us and if we fail, it's a learning experience. At least we tried right? Haiz... People! Dont mess up books in the library ok? It's a hell lot of work to put the books in order! >.< seriously...

Anyways...today's CIP is different from the CIP i do every monday at Ngee Ann Primary, helping the needy children with their studies. Its been 3 months or so helping them and you do grow some form of attachment and yeah...if we can make a difference to someone's life... why not...

and there's this boy, Luthfi whom Sadrina and I really wanna help from Ngee Ann Primary. He is a primary 5 boy who is failing terribly. I seriously hope he can pass for his PSLE... Yes Sardine, let's take this as a personal challenge ok... :D

i'm watching this tv show: The Search For The Next Pussycat Doll while blogging at the same time.
gosh! the girls look so totally slutty man but they have lots of attitude... T.T

last monday... CIP as usual... sardine and syah bought me a t-shirt that said 'HAPPY'. They said it matches my personality... hahas... damn sweet... I love you guys!!! we stayed at cip from 9am to 6pm that day so at 12 we went for lunch and guess what? It started raining so heavily... it was pouring... and we got caught in the rain... all drenched and we ended curled up freezing back at Ngee Ann Pri!!! Worse still, my t-shirt was white so yeah... I think u know wat i mean... but on the whole it was a fun day... oh there were some guy volunteers too that day... one of them was quite cute, aisyah thought he's got the winning smile... haha... i think they're jc guys or something.

yesterday, met up with 6E'06 LiTing and Sharon at J8... went for lunch and movie.. nice to catch up with old friends and do girly stuff.. haha
been watching loads of movies... Bee Movie, Stardust, Enchanted, GamePlan...

yesterday, was our Christmas CD launching... This Christmas with JazzKids

we launched it at UOB Atrium in Raffles Place cos Park Royal who is our sponsors and UOB are connected or something... but i guess it was not such a good spot cos its the business district... i mean its like all office people there who usually doesnt have a second... like they even have time to stop and watch us perform... but lucky we did get a good lunch time crowd during our performance.

but on second thoughts, its actually not so bad a spot, cos its the office people, they have the money to spend, and they did end up buying the CDs... haha... we sold almost 200 cds, 193 cds to be exact... not bad huh!!

and then we also had our one minute of fame!!! yeah!! we had the honour to sign the cds that they bought yesterday.... it was quite cool... we see people making the bee-line... it was so exciting and thrilling!! our second album!!! whee...

so remember to buy it ok... XD

anywaes, this weekend will be performing, at the same time promoting our album at Ngee Ann City so come on down ok?? if u have the time that is or if u are around the area.. but i am not sure of the timings yet... oooops...

btw, this CD launching also marks the exit of Mike from the group... he gotta concentrate for his 'O's next year... so sad!! i m sure all the JKs are gonna miss him cos he is such a live wire and so very random. good luck bro... you've been such a great pal... i'll miss ya!!

oh and michaela, rachel, nadya, philip, mike and me went for a movie last nite. it was kinda last minute so we watched the 9.40pm show of Stardust... it ended like exactly midnite... the show was rather nice but i enjoy the company better... ho ho ho... yesterday was bursting with activities... fun stuff.

i think we are planning to have another movie outing... watching Enchanted with the rest of JKs... hopefully soon ok..

unbelievably it has been almost 4 weeks of holiday and i am still sitting on my homeworks... time to smack that bum and get started with work... lols


here's the overdue post on our class party

It was rather fun!!!! it was held at Costa Sands...
so, before that, some people- Tricia, Stephanie Ho, Fish, Lecin, Rachel A, Aisyah, Aden, me and some other people had decided to meet up earlier before the bbq at 6pm.
At first, we wanted to go to theme park... then, it was closed...
then, we decided to go to East Coast Park to cycle but all but plans were changed again cos fish, steph ho, tricia and others wanted to go shopping before that... so me,lecin, syah, aden and rachel decided to just hang around at Costa Sands market place. and then we found out wild wild wet was open so we gleefully made our way there and yay... we had a whale of a time...

we showered and all and then helped out with the bbq...
i spent about $20 to buy stuff for games which was pretty wasted cos all they wanted to do was eat and chat... but in the end we did have a little captain's ball game

been busy with JazzKids Christmas CD launching... its gonna be launched on Wednesday...so you people out there... do get a copy of the album ok... nice for Christmas pressie... since Christmas is the spirit of sharing and giving and receiving... so...hmmmm... for your loved ones maybe... ahem ahem... it will be available at all good record cd stores... including Borders and Popular. Its really a cool and awesome album... so much time and sweat put on it.. like more than 30 good hours... but i am not complaining cos its really fun doing recording... so go hear it.. you'll love it... and see if u can spot my voice... haha... ok ok... so much for trying to promote it... must buy ok... buy buy buy... haha

finally i'm up for a post.
well well well... a lot of things been going on for me...

last weekend, my cousins came over from Bali... another wedding in the immediate family they attending
it's always a blast when they are here..... though the house get really crowded
my room waS occupied by david and hamish... and tarita's room was tante and her
no room for us girls...
so we like not only crammed in mum's room but also into one bed - me, karima, gaia, my mum...
my father slept on the floor... hehe.. girls rule :D

while they were here, we had movie marathons as usual, we had the wedding thing, we went for a brunch buffet where the food was just soo goood.... i could go on and on eating... they even served kids champagne... cool..

oh one funny incident... one of the days, me, karima and gaia had to tag along with my mum, tarita and hamish to Geylang to buy kebaya and malay costume for tarita and hamish. we were damn bored so we decided to ride on this mini-ride (the ones you ride when you were young)... yeah... reminiscing the childhood memories... haha
so we put the $$ into the hole (slot) and guess what... it didnt move!! we thought it was malfunction but then.. soon, a small girl went on it... and it moved!!! we cracked up...hahahas.... we were that heavy!!!

so that was a wake up call... i AM getting heavy. so monday nite i ran in the gym.... there were some people there and the aircond was full blast... the windows were shut... i really dont know how people can run and breathe in such enclosed condition. but i still did run... 3km at 12speed (that was ambitious) but i wanted to just get over the run quick.. and guess what... i finished... not just panting and breathless... i was wheezing and like gonna get an asthmatic attack...
i hate that feeling.... lesson learnt... never run in a full blast aircond no ventilation room.

today... sadrina was nice to accompany me to run at bishan stadium. we met around 4ish. we did 9 rounds and couldnt stretch ourselves to make it 10. sadrina came over after that and we watched this sweet childhood malay movie 'Oh Bulan'.... its about this gal going back to her hometown which she left maybe 15yrs ago to attend her childhood friend's wedding and throughout the journey she was reminiscing her good old childhood days.... its a very simple movie but it kinda tickles you and makes your grin turn to laughter watching it... NICE!!

tomorrow... errrrr..... braces day.... i have heard too much.... that it hurts, hurts, hurts, and hurts alot... so i am just gonna brace myself. i dont know how i am gonna look, speak and eat after that... ewwwwwww... whatever la... i just wanna get it over and done with. oh and chantal wants to do a sleepover tomorrow too... i wonder if i can handle the pain and do it... if i do sleepover, they may have to baby me... haha..

i am so damn looking forward to fri... its 1SE class outing... we have a chalet.. we gonna bbq in the evening... and going to the escape theme park in the day... i hope the pain will go away by then... and i can enjoy myself.. wheeee... i am hopeful..
